Meg Rilley released her first single “The Bottle or the Boy” on March 20th on most streaming platforms. The singer/songwriter had a full band release show planned at the DawgHouse Saloon for the “Finally Friday’ show, when the pandemic shut everything down. Despite the last minute changes, Meg and her band did a livestream release party on Instagram and Facebook to celebrate the release!

Meg cowrote “The Bottle or the Boy” with her bassist, Leighton Thomas. It is a southern-rock with a hint of blues tune that is sure to be a hit. Meg says “I had been sitting with the hook for months and it was passed over on co-write after co-write until I just needed to write it. So I sat down with Leighton, who had a guitar part ready, and we wrote the song in just over an hour. It was one of those songs that came together naturally and quickly… meant to be.”

This is Meg’s first single to be released for her current EP project ‘BURN‘. Stay tuned for new music from this up and coming artist, and be sure stream “The Bottle of the Boy” on Spotify, Apple Music, Itunes, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer or your chosen streaming app.
